Fjallalopi by Istex is a gorgeous single ply wool yarn made from 100% Icelandic wool. It is half the thickness of the well-known Lettlopi yarn and is suitable for lighter and finer woollen garments, mittens, hats, etc for both children and adults. You can knit the most beautiful Icelandic sweaters and many other projects with this yarn. Choose patterns that call for a gauge of approximately 22 stitches per 10cm. We recommend handwashing this yarn. Fjallalopi has the Standard 100 quality mark from OEKO-TEX®. The recommended needle size is 3.00-4.00mm. One ball of Fjallalopi weighs 50 grams and holds 150 metres of yarn. Supplied per single ball of 50g.
