Icelandic Style Sweater - Dark Blue

Our traditional Norwegian sweaters (Genser), are authentic and imported directly from the knitting factory in Romsdal, Norway, from Rauma, a family owned wool company. Each sweater is knit by Norwegian artisans from pure Norwegian wool.

Here at Nordic Knitting, we're fans of 'slow' fashion! These traditional Norwegian designs, popularised many decades ago. These high quality sweaters last for many years and can be repaired easily. They are bio-degradable when they do eventually need to be disposed.

These Norwegian sweaters soften with each wash. They are cosy and very, very warm. The natural wool forms a 'halo' as they age, trapping air for extra warmth and protection against wind. They are intended as outer garments, not to be worn next to the skin.

Fibre Content: 100% Norwegian Wool

Care Instructions: Hand wash in lukewarm water, rinse with clear water. Press water out with towel, do not ring. Dry flat.
