Sølje Pellsullgarn

Norwegian fur sheep are a separate grey Norwegian breed of sheep, different from the Norwegian white sheep. The dark fibres give the yarn an exciting depth and melange when dyed. The wool contains both dark and light fibres. It is soft and very fine.

The yarn has good felting properties, it becomes fluffy and gets a nice halo after felting. Sølje is perfect for light weight garments, even thinner than Tinde. Sølje is a light weight, shiny carded yarn. It is very soft, fine and has a good drape. Perfect for lacey tops & cardigans.

Colour 2115 is the fur sheep's natural colour and all other colours are dyed on this.
