Norwegian fur sheep are a separate Norwegian breed of sheep, different from the Norwegian white sheep. Norwegian fur sheep have grey curly wool that contains both light and dark fibres. The dark fibres give the yarn an exciting depth and melange when dyed.
The wool is fine and soft. This makes yarn made from pelsullgarn softer and more shiny than wool from Norwegian white sheep.
The yarn has good felting properties, it becomes fluffy and gets a nice halo after felting. Tinde is perfect for light weight garments.
Colour 2115 is the fur sheep's natural colour and all other colours are dyed on this. If pattern calls for white or cream, use Sol in combination with Tinde.
